My First Nikon

Hadn’t used this Nikon P6 in years. The first Nikon I ever used was in 1971 and it was borrowed. I should have stuck with them but had a bunch of Minolta’s 35mm film cameras. Now all I have are Nikon’s, the P6, L 100, L 110, and the D 3000. Consider myself a hack photographer but artistic print maker. I do know the theory and is a constant learning curve that keeps me engaged. The past year I’ve been trying to shoot people more, which is all fleeting moments. At my age self portraits are getting rarer. It took quite a few to get one that was just ok. Before I got some wider angle digital cameras I was using autostitch to do pano’s which is the picture below.

Al and I got lucky today and found a 5$ dragon which you will see more of hopefully.

I’m thinking you should have a caption contest for that second photo (the MIRA self portrait)

I was thinking more along the lines of “Who you callin’ a hoe?”

Hopefully that last comment won’t need to be moderated. I felt like I was drifting close to an invisible line in the sand. But, moderate as needed. We come in peace.
