The Richmond Tramp

We saw HUGO at the Bowtie cinemas which there was something magical about seeing a train movie inside an old train factory. HUGO is so much more than a train movie! Really inspiring……….

Sweetie is actually our oldest cat but I was thinking of “Chessie The Railroad Kitten”

Chessie is probably the most endearing and certainly one of the most successful corporate symbols in American history. In 1933, L.C. Probert, a C&O official charged with public relations and advertising, saw an etching in a newspaper of a cuddly little kitten sleeping under a blanket with a paw thrust contentedly forward.

I seem to have train fever these past few days, photographed the Main Street Station early Saturday morning. I also was able to get some great parade shots yesterday while at Pleasants Hardware getting a chimney cap.

A friend posted this sad news recently (famous train song).
