Blue #6

I knew this day would come, I’ve run out of space. I shoot about 1 to 2 gigs a day and until I resolve this I’ll be seeing you in September.

Kevin at RIR

Local beauty that was also driving today. Kevin’s girlfriend was impressed to be seeing women drivers and had to photograph her.

InLight

I was taking pictures on the bridge with Charles Sugg and I swear he brought me good luck, these 16 picture panos in low light usually don’t stitch.

Sea of Cigarettes

Trips to the museum are usually a sea of idea’s. The objects it house’s should be a gateway for creative thoughts and actions.

Richmond Folk Festival 2011

My pictures didn’t come out so great but had a good time. My two picks were really good, but sure I’d be surprised by the rest I missed.

The sky on the way down and a portrait from earlier in the day.

I returned to the Festival day 2, to photograph Wayne Henderson only to find out he was in France. These panos were taken from 2nd street.

THE CRAB LADY

We made a wrong exit off of 64 and found this great place today. The best gourmet devil crab Althea has ever had, we were shocked how good this place was. Kim is a sweetheart and showed us this crab sculpture she use to make (pictured below).

I was noticing the cloud front but couldn’t get out of the urban area enough to really capture it well.

the VILLAGE

The (old) Village Restaurant was the hub for Richmond artists in the evolution of the local college. After taking panoramas on Libby Hill at dawn this morning I made a point to stop and photograph the old place that looks like it is in a last man standing mode. I know this building has boundless memories for alot of folks. Hopefully it will be restored to its former spirit, it has been neglected too long.
