Camera Test

Have been learning a new camera so these are some roughcuts with alot of flaws. Most of what I post are roughcuts. A print can always be better it’s the journey that makes it interesting.

I completely agree with what you say here,O3. I think it would be an interesting experiment for us to go out and film together sometime. You with your still camera and me with my video camera recording all of what it took to get a particular photo would be very interesting. Back in the 80’s I was hired to film white water video in the Grand Canyon of the South. Beyond the very scenic views of the gorges, cliffs, and nature one would wonder how in the world did the videographer get to the spots where he filmed. This dangerous filming expedition took place during the coal strike of the 80’s which in itself created other difficulties for the film crew. Imagine what I must have felt when I was told, if a snake with a purplish skin bites you…hold on to it as the skin is worth a lot of money. These are the stories that make our filming excursions more interesting.

I hiked through uncleared paths and woods today to photograph a fall line that may be a park some day. I was warned about the ticks, chiggers, snakes and I don’t have to tell you about looking sideways at poison ivy. On my second pair of clothes and shower and hurt all over but think I got the picture, will see by tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing your story David, hopefully I can continue an adventure theme here.
