Cinco (redux)

https://otway.wordpress.com/2008/09/06/la-paloma/

The French army sent on the pretext of collecting Mexican debts from the newly elected government of democratic President (and Indian) Benito Juarez was defeated at Puebla, Mexico May 5, 1862. This angered Napoleon III so much he sent a larger force over and defeated the Mexicans than put Maximilian a Hapsburg prince with them to rule the new Mexican empire. Great history worth reading about!

    Yo………..

I was at Maximilion’s castle in Trieste, Italy once upon a time.

The Chazz Cats were on tour.We smoked a nice bowl and reflected on

life. I was on the quay from which Mr. Hapsburg prince embarked to

    Mexico….he didn’t come back.

They say his wife,Carlotta, went “mad” and wandered the beautiful

castle corridors calling for her Max…………….
