Bubble Boy

“Children are the Treasures of Life” but I’ve been asked on occasion (jokingly) if I wanted theirs. This morning before the rain I spent some time with Terry’s nephew making bubbles. I wasn’t real close to Terry but the service took a toll on me yesterday because of the loss too soon for her family and since I have no children, spending some time with the nephew seemed to help.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend or a meaningful day.

We had the nephews a couple of hours before the service also, that helped too. I hadn’t been to a Quaker service in decades. It’s self reflection all within your soul, very intense and having sinusitis at the moment, breathing in that quiet of a service sorta intensified it.
It was a wonderful tribute at the place she worshipped when she live in town.

    Thanks! for quote.

    Otway,
What a pleasure it was to receive your note in today’s mail. Thank you for the good words of encouragement and memory.
I have loved looking at your photographs again. They reflect hope and light in the midst of darkness, and I thank you for them!
    Peace to you,
    Carla
