    I think this is great also. I’d very much like to see a Monuments of Richmond series.

      Although I’m respectful to the other monuments on the avenue this one seems to be the less offensive. I had shot pretty much these same images on film decades ago. Any body into sailing would be interested in Maury. A good recent book about him is “Tracks In The Sea” Matthew Fontaine Maury and the Mapping of the Oceans by Chester G. Hearn.
