Long Row

Long Row, Hanover Virginia : “Across the Fork Church road from Oakland Mont Air, and Goshen stands Long Row. This was a Nelson place later sold to Billy Fulcher, who had been the overseer there and who later ran Fulcher’s Mill. He was an active trader, owned two ships, and is said to have made many trips with them carrying produce and returning with a load of slaves and household necessities. Long Row got its name from the long rows of corn that ran from Little River to New Found River.”
