MEPPS #3

There is quote my friend the author of the “The Indigenous Fish” http://boatdog.wordpress.com/  use to tell me. “If it can’t be caught with a Mepps#3 it can’t be caught.”

What’s left of my 80’s lure collection. You’ll never forget the feeling of catching a fish with lures if you take the trouble to learn how. The spinners are my favorite and that big Strike King is what the big snapping turtle hit.

Water Turin

I always look up the Shroud of Turin during Easter, Here is some info from the web:

The first discovery concerning the shroud came in 1898, when an Italian photographer took its picture and found that the image is a negative, which means that light and dark areas are reversed. It is said that the photographer, Secondo Pia, nearly dropped his glass negative, which had turned the image into a positive, very distinct picture of the face on the shroud.
STURP concluded that the image is that of a “real human form of a scourged, crucified man. It is not the product of an artist. The blood stains are composed of hemoglobin and also give a positive test for serum albumin.”
“There are no chemical or physical methods known which can account for the totality of the image, nor can any combination of physical, chemical, biological or medical circumstances explain the image adequately.”
According to Schwortz, looking at the shroud makes you think about God, and that has a positive effect on a person, whether they’re a Christian or not.
