I like yours better, except for the gears on the new one are pretty cool
I’m not sure what the lifespan is for internal gears? It does seem cool! I can still get a 3 speed back wheel with a coaster break if I want (or even this). I also didn’t see the need for the front springer fork with the ballon tires and spring seat. 500$ extra for all the bells and whistles seems extreme for a Schwinn.
I thought I’d gotten the last of the steel frames when I bought mine, but this looks like one? Although I miss my Motobecane days, this has been great for an older rider except for long distance.
It helped me recover faster from the fractured knee better than the NSAID’s or Vicodin.
