2012 Dragon

After seeing the Dragon in the parade this year I have been keeping my eye out for them. Not as easy as you would think to run across, guess that makes it fun. Tried to find an official poster for the new year and I suppose this stamp is the best example?

The sound was literally as if at the Fillmore but I’ve been told that is part of the experience. My poor film camera couldn’t handle it and I got some great footage. Please send me some mp3′s of what was recorded and I can salvage some awesome stuff.

The last time I photographed Wendy was many moons ago and the last time I saw her was hosting open mike night at Potters Pub. It was great seeing old friends this past weekend!

I love Wes Freed’s art because it portrays our America’s as still a romantic, folksy, wilderness.

There was probably more light in a city alley, reminded me of the Thirsty Camel. Some great Honky Tonk music!

Barry’s recent composition moved me so and I was able to find some editing software that allowed me to combine clips of my Dancing Madwoman friend.

Enjoyed the show from the balcony and ended up filming instead of still shots, know my limitations. GREAT SHOW! This panorama was taken before the show started. It was a much larger audience.

The light in the Lobby was incredible. Tried to get these with out a tripod.

Not one to give up I’m working on some screen captures before I have chance to edit video……

Shot at a local gas station. I’ve been trying to force myself to shoot in 16:9 and in black & white. I’ve been thinking outside of the frame too long doing panoramas. This is a cropped 16:9 though…….
