I was doing a photo shoot of these wonderful men today and ended up outside and then finally filming them. I had seen them briefly at the Vegan Fest and immediately felt a powerful vibe. After the fact I’ve been told the history which is fascinating and hopefully I’ll get some links to more info and learn more about in comments.

Ron Howard Snub
John I don’t know how Ron and his daughter missed your panorama. It was far superior than any of the finalist and I found it odd that what was chosen was all HDR pushed to the max which I tend to do occasionally. I’ve been snubbed all my life but that is not what my image making has ever been about and also why I don’t plaster my name on my work. The Howards are good people and I’m sure their project will excel but I bet if they had read the story behind your image they would be interested.

Vegan Fest 2011
Khalima had a very enthusiastic non scheduled performer with her today. I got over sensitive whether to post these photographs.
O3 : I hope the photo and video wasn’t too Diane Arbus. You were really kind to him.
Khalima : I love Diane Arbus. She’s always been a favorite, and it’s ok to document exactly what you see. He was a sweet fella having a good time.

BIG Water

Arthur Stephens portrait of the Salty Dog photographing the largest rapid on the city stretch of the fall line. Arthur also helped pull out a couple that were nearly sucked down this fall. I was behind Arthur ready to grab him who I was more concerned about than foolish people being unsafe on this mighty river.
