QUIBELL
While doing some spring cleaning I found a Quibell bottle from a spring we use to enjoy visiting. The Quibell Company was nowhere to be seen at this spring and did nothing to promote its rich history. We heard they just sent in trucks to pump up water and that was it. Since they had an excellent product this made little sense to us. Now there isn’t even a post left of when they went out of business.
I found from following the links on this site they are bottling the water again under a new name.
A steel wok was also saved from the truck-load of stuff to the Goodwill and haven’t stopped cooking with it since I pulled it out of attic.

Lisa Austin (cat sculpture?)
A sculpture I love by one of my wife’s friends during the early 1980′s. I think it looks like a scared cat but Althea alway’s called it lizard dog. It’s in need of repair so I photoshoped it some.

Mile High Club
This has been the longest shot I’ve tried since taking photograph of moon. Catching these birds mating was luck, I was just trying to catch one in flight.

The Pipeline
Althea counted 25 or more nest on the west end of tree tops on Mayo’s Island. We were on the small beach on the pipeline.

Thought there would be enough overcast to shoot into sun this day but no such luck so the panoramas aren’t that good.

SPRUNG
First phase of Maple tree this spring.
About a week later our picnic table is covered with these maple flowers and so goes trying to keep my sinuses from going south on me.
