Jordan’s Branch

John took Al and I to where he walks his dog Weezie in Bryan Park. John says, “ I take my dog walking here often. After we struggle our way through poison ivy beds and spiderwebs, we are rewarded with this place, where the sand of the beach is mixed with litter and the water looks like some kind of oily cocktail. My dog drinks the stuff like tea.”

I found a DVD stuck in the sand that I really hope would still play. No such luck.

Into the Light

I was shooting these panorama’s yesterday into the light that was changing fast because of the clouds. I redid the panos in autostitch which tends to blend better. The water was a color of a Latte, moving toward the crest of the flood.

Today reminded me of a REUBENS day from the 1960′s. A local forecaster that predicted strange weather days.

The Silver Biscuit

My mother always called the water tower at the end of our street “The Silver Biscuit”. Although it’s not silver anymore it still stands strong since over 4 decades ago.

Hitting the Bars

Waiting in the bar at Westminster Canterbury to meet a relative for lunch. WMC has exceeded at easing the pain of my mother’s condition of her old age.
